Vintage: We had a cool spring and mild summer temperatures that extended the growing season making it one of the longest growing seasons on record for us. Harvest began in the fall allowing for increased flavors due to hang time. The weather was mild, and we had a long timeframe in which to carefully pick for optimal flavors. Yields were slightly above average, but the weather cooperated permitting us to have pronounced flavors and aromatics. We are very happy with the quality of the wine and the “numbers” (pH, TA, Alc.) are perfect resulting in very balanced wines.

Color: Vibrant white-gold hue.

Aroma: Vibrant yellow citrus blossom and fruit mix with complex aromas of honeysuckle, oak toast, and honey.

Palate: Lemon curd, white and yellow tropical fruits, with creamy textures balanced by minerals and white pear. Crisp acidity and smooth tannins. Rich, concentrated and expansive with a long finish.

Alcohol: 13.2%

Blend: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

AVA: Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara

Vintage: Santa Barbara County had ideal growing conditions for most of the year and mild summer temperatures until an extended Labor Day heat wave hit. We were ready and harvested most of the early ripening varietals before and right at the beginning of the heat. Of course, that was followed by rain but after that the weather was mild, and we had a long timeframe for the remainder of harvest in which to carefully pick for optimal flavors. Yields were slightly below average. The weather cooperated for the remainder of the year permitting us to pick and process to produce wines with excellent flavors and abundant aromatics. We are very happy with the quality of the wines in 2022.

Color: Light white gold and bright.

Aroma: Bursting with green fruits of kiwi, lime and melon mixed with green and yellow citrus blossoms, fresh grass and fresh herbs.

Palate: Great energy and alive on the palate with fresh minerals and wet stones. Layers of slate, grapefruit, honeydew melon and lemongrass. Classic Loire style Sauvignon Blanc except with low sulphur.

Alcohol: 13.1%

Color: Beautiful saturated dark red crimson color.

Aroma: Complex array of cranberry, pomegranate, and mulberries mix with red tropical flowers and earthy elements of dried herbs, sandalwood, vanilla and toast.

Palate: Concentrated fruit impressions with great mouthfeel. Red fruit compote and dried herbs mix with a medley of earthy notes of dried roses, red candy, spice, cocoa and cherries.
